Hi,

In a RS/6000 F40 machine with AIX 4.3 the mouse isn't working. (The device "mouse0" is in the state "Defined" and I think it should be "Available").

How can I change the state of the mouse to Available ? (if that is the problem)

Thanks in advance,

AntSilva

well you could have 1 of 3 problems namely :
1. check to see if your mouse isnt faulty by using another mouse reboot and see if it picks it up
2.see if you have a TTY defined for that mouse port smitty devices add a port
3.your drivers could be wrong for the mouse try and reloading the drivers for the mouse.

goodluck
