A collegue of mine has designed an Access based program which is used to collect data. Only one person is able to input this data at a time. How could more than one person input data at a time? The program runs on a NT 4 server system.

You might have a permissions problem.
Which are sometimes difficult to figure out.
If the company has 2 or more domains you will get this also.
Your trust Relationship is not right between the domains.

Let me know what you have so I can help you narrow it down.

Ask me how Bar-codes can help you be more productive.

It might also help to break the database into two, one containing only the tables, the other one containing queries, forms, reports, etc. Then link the 'front end' to the back end. This helps enormously when making changes and keeps the size of the databases down.

Thanks for all your replies. Believe it or not it has helped. The problem lay in the permissions. Once this was setup correctly things only got better.

Once again thanks
