More on Escape Characters

Can anybody help with the escape characters in a select query to find the [ or \ in data as these are normally used as escpape characters please.......

Hi
Enclose the character in brackets. For example:
[tt]strSQL = "SELECT * FROM tblTable WHERE strText Like '*[[]*'"[/tt]
