For some weddings, I include a "good luck speech" package where I take my Sony VX2000 from table to table and ask the family/friends to give some good luck. When I import those particular clips into Premiere 6.5, I get only Right channel sound... and when that is played on a TV with only mono-sound... they hear nothing. Is there a way to duplicate the right channel? Any help would be useful.

Thanks,
Bill

With the clip on the timeline, right click the audio and select 'take right' to duplicate to both stereo channels.

Some cameras are OK with mono mics. Others, like yours, record only on one channel with a mono external mic.

Easiest long-term fix is a short extension lead which feeds from a mono socket to a stereo plug thus supplying a mono signal to both stereo tracks during recording.
