Monitoring Tools for ML370 G2 Server

Are there any monitoring tools available for the above mentionned server?

more specifically, we need to monitor the Raid Configuration and have an alert sent to the administrator in the event of a failure.

one would think compaq/hp would have these available.

Compaq/HP servers all come with the Insight Manager drivers/application on the Management CD that came with the server. Basically, you would install the Management agents onto the server and have them running, then there are several different ways of monitoring for failures. One way of monitoring for faults is to configure the server to send an error email if an error is picked up.

It's true. Insight Manager should cost like $ 20,000.00 and every one would use it but unfortunately it's free and less than 20% of Compaq users use it. It the best Application for monitoring servers. (period)

It will page you. It's web base, so you can be in Hawai and with your PDA check the status of each/all your servers.
