Monitoring Replication

I can use Enterprise Manager to check replication success, but I want to use our enterprise wide monitoring tools to alert me of problems just like we do for other things. What tables does replication use to record the information EM displays? If I have direct access to the data I can get what I need easily.

The MSrepl_errors table contains rows with extended Distribution Agent and Merge Agent failure information. This table is stored in the distribution database.

To answer my own question:

is a link to a Microsoft page where you can download a help file with full details on the tables for replication, log shipping, agent, maintenance plans, etc. Just about everything I might want to know in those areas.
