What device is needed to monitor this CSU/DSU?
I have a Kentrox T-Serv II.
I am having issues where my local provider is saying the issue resides in my CS1000?
As employees make calls out they are connecting to the end user and can hear them but the end user cannot hear them.
I need to monitor the PRI channel to see if speech is going across that specific channel. With this I can let my provider know it is their issue which I need to prove.

You would need a T-Berd to monitor a T-1. They are pricey but very valuable for testing.

Don't rule out the problem being the CSU either. You can bypass the CSU. Do you have a local vendor that can help you troubleshoot?

Thanks guys I had my vendor bring out a tberd and found out the static and noise is coming from the PRI card. Could there be any other equipment causing this?

Never seen a PRI card in a Nortel switch cause static in 20 + years working on Nortel. But there's a first for everything. Bypass the CSU as I suggested and see if the trouble clears. The CSU is the more likely culprit.
