Is there any type of log or any way to monitor calls leaving a definity G3? These calls are going out our T-1.

We're having problems with international calls to strange countries.

Thanks,

Todd

Good Question. If you are on release 11 or maybe even 9 you can run this command, list trace tac (insert trunk code). I just placed a local test call and it worked fine. Our local service is PRI and I was able to see what number I called and also who made the call internally. If you have a call accounting system that may be another option.

Why not use ARS to block the country codes in question. Use 'change ars analysis 011' to open the table enter as many digits as you want to screen on.

You could also try changing ARS Didit-Conversion and have a matching pattern re-routed to an internal Ext. (ie. -Security, Switchboard, You etc.)

Good luck!

You don't even need a fancy call accounting program to get the info. Just setup a pc on the serial port of the switch and set up cdr. you can capture the raw text using hyper terminal, then open it as a text file or import it to excel so you can sort it anyway you wish.
