I have two user running office 2k and both are having the same problem. When they log onto thier computers the monitor is show nothing. They have to unplug the computer and then reconnect the power in order for the monitor to power up. The power is connected to the monitors as the green light is on but blinking. I have tried to reload the drivers with no luck. This has really got me baffled. I have changed monitors all of the basic trouble shooting steps and nothing has changed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Steven

Check the bios for any power management settings sounds like it is going to sleep. Disable any settings. Do you have roaming profiles on the network? try logging in locally to see if it will boot all the way.

If you can’t get it to boot it could be the power supplies. Odd that two computers would go at the same time. I have had machines do funny things then I replaced the power supplies that fixed the problem.

Thanks Leon,
I was just reminded on the power settings by a collegue. We'll see if that works. The turn off monitor setting was set for 20 minutes, that may have been it.
thanks,
Steven
