Hello,

Due to a frantic effort to patch our computers lately we haven't been subject to any significant problems during the latest w32 variation problems.

However, as a precaution I thought that it would be a good idea to monitor the network for virus related traffic. 6 Hours on and I'm hopelessly lost! I can't find any 2000 server tools that seem relevant to this task, and the SMS network monitor is a bit low-level for my needs.

How does one achieve this (I would have thought common) task?

Thanks for any advice.
Rich.

If you're trying to monitor your network for unusual traffic, that's usually something that is done through the switches/routers/etc.
