Monitor if a command has been run.

wondering if there is a piece of software that would allow monitoring of an Avaya G3r/S8XX0 that would 'alert' if someone ran a particular command. customer wants notification when a 'cha ars digit' is executed in the PBX from any login.

Nothing that I know of. But if I need to do this I would use ASA to export list history every X hours. Then write a script to search the file and key off of change ars ana. Then email the results. That would work but its not a off the shelf solution.

yeah, i was thinking of that solution and did mention it. they want a complete desktop software solution. the customer demands immediate notification if anyone ever changes how 911 is routed ever again. wasn't a good day at work Friday.
