Monitor goes black every now and then.

Its seems almost like it is switching video settings or something. The screen goes black, then comes back a few seconds later. This happens when I open a program, game, but recently it has been happening more often. Any suggestions?

Use another VDU and see if the same thing happens. If not, then their is a problem with the original screen. If it does still happen, uninstall the graphics drivers in SAFE MODE and restart the system. Windows should auto reload the drivers back into the database and reboot again.

tried them all, still getting this problem. My internet has been acting up also, my cable modem has been running slower. Dont know if those two problems are related though.
