Anyone ever get hissing on the MOH? I have a Compact ICS with a radio as the music source and when you listen to it with background music(f86) it sounds fine. But when you call in from an external line and get put on hold the music kind of goes in and out with a hissing noise on the line.

I have this same problem with a BCM 400. I have tried different music sources but still get the same hissing sound.......

Thanks for your input

Chad

I get this all the time .. you don't have the exact right plug on the end ... I'll bet that if u called into the system, put yourself on hold, waited for it to start hissing, then went to the radio and pulled the plug out a fraction of a milimeter it'll sound good .. the problem is it won't stay there. Change ure connector.

(I'd tell you which one to get, but half the time I buy the wrong one and have the same problem as you, and need to return to the store...)

Also, an impedance matching transformer may be required......I've seen that a number of times.
