MOH cannot be heared

I have external MOH source connected to an auxiliary trunk card port. The music can be heared when you call the VDN which have this music as a step of its dedicated vecotor, but it cannot be heared while the caller is on hold.

what could be the reason?

i would first check cor permissions for trunk group, does its cor allow "hear music on hold"?

yes it is allowing, and it can be heared through VDN, but not on hold.

well, let me clarify this. the vdn trace tells me that an inbound call on trunk group 1 gets to the vector and hears the music, right? and the extensions you're talking about are both internal voip, and one of the extensions can't hear music while being held, is it so? then the question is, what cor these extensions have and is it allowed to hear music. if not that, are they in the same tenant?

Sounds like the MOH is not defined as a general music source.

Depending on what features and version of CM you have, look at commands change sys features pg 1 music source or change music or is it change MOH.

Make sure the source is defined as general music

Finally it is resolved after doing the following:

(1)-System features:
Music (or Silence) on Transferred Trunk Calls? call-wait

(2)COS:
Trk-to-Trk Transfer Override = y

But I'm not sure which one solved the issue, and are they related for this case (Auxiliary Trunk and External Music source?).

huh, be careful with trunk to trunk transfer, it may open a big hole for fraud.
