Is this a 1:1 ratio - I can have 1 caller listening to the MOH at a time? Or is there something else that determines how many simultaneous times the message can be heard?

CS1000M single group (former 61C) - release 5.5

You need Broadcast turned on

BDCT YES

Then set the number of connections on the trunk.

I am pretty sure you are forced to use Broadcast now.

you may not have ISM's for music broadcast

Print the TN - you will see a Conf Loop associated with this TN - This gives you 30 talk paths - assuming nothing else is using any.

if you do have broadcast lics, 64 can listen at once, or however many lics you have if it is less than 64

I set BDCT to YES --- but can't figure out where to set the number of connections on the trunk. So then I tried to set it back to NO and it tells me that "SCH0062
The change of a Music broadcast route to a non broadcasting route, is not allowed."

I do not have ISMs for RAN CON or MUS CON --- I'm assuming these are the broadcast ISMs?

Where can I tell what CONF LOOP is associated with this TN -- I see 2 CONF/TDS cards -- 1 on each of the 2 CPU shelves.

Here's the TN TYPE: tnb

I have 2 other routes that seem to work fine.

Problem with this one is that I get dead air a lot, either being placed on hold or dialing the ACOD and listening. Occasionally I get to hear the music --- I really don't check all that often.

Do we have to go the BROADCAST ISM route on 5.5?

prt you slt in ld 22, if you have broadcast lics and your route is broadcast yes, you don't have to "add users" it will auto use your lics, you might have to out and rebuild the route.

I see you said you do not have lics, no, you are not forced to use broadcast lics. the Conf loop is associated on the trunk member you build in ld 14 CFLP (music conference loop)
