Modules are not getting detected!!

Hi,
I have new Cisco 4006 switch with two modules.after mounting the switch box with sup engine wx4013,inserted both the modules one by one.Powered on and waited to boot up.But both the module status leds are blining with yellow light instead of grean.and modules are not shown during bootup and on typing <sh module>.What could be wrong here.I tried reseating the modules and restarted the switch,but nothing found fruitful.
Pld help me out in this.

What version of Cat OS are you running on the 4006? You might need to upgrade to a later version...

The OS version is 6.3(5)
The modules are 48 Port wx-4448 modules.Could you pls tell me now?

Had the same problem with mine when I bought them, upgrade to anything past:
WS-X4448-GB-RJ45 48-port Gigabit Ethernet switching
7.1(1a)+

7.4(2) is the current release

Yeah the IOS version has been upgraded and now all the modules are getting detected.
