Anybody have a solution? MSIMN caused invalid page fault in Module Inetcomm.dll at 0167:5ec24fc7. This occurs when trying to download newsgroups messages. Which in turn crashes Outlook Express 6.0. I am using IE 6.0, Windows 98se, and Microsoft Office 2000.

Howdy:

What are you running for an av program??

Do a search for SKA.EXE and SKA.DLL !!

According to my computer, neither ska.exe or ska.dll are anywhere on my computer. Searched for both and nothing was found. Sorry for the delay back, I just started a new job and things are very hectic. Thanks for the help.
Now what?????????

Beerhunter2- Thanks for the help, but I've already done both of those things. First I've downloaded lastest files from McAfee for virus scan and still don't have any viruses. I had already done this twice, 2 weeks ago because I thought the same as you, that I had a virus. Secondly, the 2 exe files from Microsoft are for Outlook Express 4.0 and I'm using 6.0. But I tried it anyway 2 weeks ago and it did not fix anything. Any other thoughts? Could the page faults occur because there is not enough memory? Could that crash the Kernel32.dll?

Apparently this exact configuration (Win98SE, Office 2000 (actually Outlook 2000), and IE6 SP1 with OE6 suffers the problem.

There is no solution yet; I am awaiting the March 2003 patches which hopefully will solve the problem.
