DBU is the only utility I used. Some times, i used the dBase command prompt (Yes, I still have dBaseIII ), but, it doesn't have any support for the NTX index.

Are there any issues using dbaseIII command prompt and Y2K?
It think it is OK to use if the .DBF files are created using Clipper. I had heard that if they are created using dBaseIII a bit in the header may be set wrong or something, i.e. it may be OK to use dBaseIII for modifying the structure.
This provides full dot-prompt functionality as well as a mouse/menu driven interface and has a lot of nice features and support for all CL5 index drivers.
I found the CLUT program on the Simtel web site and it allows you to work with CDX index files as well as NTX in a DBU format. It is a lot more versatile than DBU.
