I have made a diagram in excel from two columns and XY scatter chart type. Now i want to modify the graph by deleting the graph between points (0,0) and (10,0)and move the chart area from point (10,0)-(50,40) at the beginning of the axes point (0,0).I want to know if there is any software for modify the chart area of a graph

Hi,

You ought to use the OFFSET function in Insert/Name/Define RefersTo Textbox.

=OFFSET(reference,rows,cols,height,width)

where
reference: cell reference where data begins
rows: number of OFFSET rows from the reference cell
cols: number of OFFSET columns from the reference cell
height: the number of rows to include in the data window
width: the number of columns to include in the data window

In Insert/Name/Define RefersTo you enter the offset formula using point and click for the reference

Then in the Chart - Source Data - Series Tab, enter the NAME assiciated with the appropriate range in the value textboxes like this...
Code:
=Sheet1!MyRangeName
Hope this helps :)
