Hello, I was wondering if anyone can help me. My PC accidentally downloaded a trojan type virus which changed the settings of my PC. I have deleted the program, but it has left a 'modified theme' which causes the desktop to turn grey and cannot be altered. I have tried to delete it within the properties box, but the option is blanked out. Everytime I change it to an XP theme, it will automatically change itself back on! I have looked in the C:Windows/resourses folder for the offending theme, I have looked in add/remove progs, I have looked at the startup in MSCONFIG, I have run various virus guards and antispyware progs and I have manually looked around my C drive looking for suspect files, but I still cannot find the file that is causing this!! Does anyone out there have any other ideas that I could try? Please? Thank you.
