Modified outside dreamweaver...

I'm having a strange problem with Dreamweaver MX 2004. If I make changes to a file then PUT it I get a message seconds later telling me that the file has been modified outside of dreamweaver and asks me if I want to reload it. I have the options set so that when I PUT a file it automatically saves is before it is put. I know nothing outside of dreamweaver on my computer is changing it. What could be causing this?

I'm saving my files on a Samba share on my local network and then uploading them to my web host.

I think it is some sort of bug. I have the same thing here on a regular basis. Make no change at all but DW thinks it has been modified.

I just ignore it.

Just noticed something interesting. This only happens when I save my site on a network drive. If I save it to local drive it works perfect. The network drive is a Samba share on RH Linux 9. Wonder why this is? Could is be because the server doesn't have the exact same time as my workstation? Just a guess.

that's the most likely.
My set up is similar (on windows) but I have a NTP Server synching everything up so it doesn't happen.
