Modem, when dialing there is no sound of beeping. How to turn sound on

Hi,

I don't know what happened, but when dialing with modem to access internet no sound is available. My modem is working without any problems (so connection with internet server can be established) just dialing without sound. Yesterday I heard beeping when dialing internet connection. But today there is no sound. I have tried to play some mp3 files and sound is working OK, just when dialing there is no sound.

I would realy need somekind of solution, because I need to constantly change this settings, because I am working on different places. Without sound I don't know if there is something wrong.

How to turn modem dialing sound on?

Windows XP SP2

Some things to check.

Your ISP Properties/ General/ Configure/ "Enable Modem Speaker"

Control Panel/ Phone and Modem/ Modems/ Properties/ Modem/ Speaker Volume

Master Volume Controls - PC Speaker (internal modem) See the Properties under File Menu.

Hi,

I have look up at the settings you have both writen, but there was all settings set up correctly.

I have reinstall audio driver and now it works fine.
