anyone have a quick fix for not able to type within the 'after dial terminal'? i'm trying to remote access into a 8700 modem....no luck...

thanks in advance.

Try this:
On the dialup window goto
"properties"->"Security"
uncheck the "Show terminal Window"
check "Run script"
and "Edit" the "Generic Login" script to fit your login and password.
This should work.

Leave the dial up networking username and password blank, on the dialing option tab, make sure "prompt for password is checked. Also make sure display progress is checked as well. On the Security tab make sure "show terminal window is checked. Dial up, then when prompted login... Once connected, use ASA to connect via IP. Works for me everytime.

Thanks,
