Mode Code.

I want to turn on Mode Code so I can connect a faxfinder to some analog ports. When I go to change the system feature Mode Code Interface from N to Y I get the warning:

"If embedded AUDIX is active, Mode Code may have adverse effects."

Embedded VM is running. What adverse effects may happen?

Probably nothing. I ***think*** that's an old message referring to Definity AUDIX, an in-skin voicemail that was a double-wide card. Seeing as Mode Code was for analog stuff, that old voicemail was analog, and the embedded VM you're referring to is probably IP - like IA770, CMM, or something co-resident on your server without actual voicemail hardware in the PBX cabinet, I think you're fine.

But what kind of voicemail do you really have ?
