I'm trying to add a udp entry for a 7 digit number to go to aar to use a rp to reach another location via ip trunks and the command is not taking and saying 'mode code for centralized vm active. lengths must be all 4 or all 5.

I've seen a bunch of posts on this, but they are very old. It's turned off in sys feat, but on in sys cust. I'm not able to view where these codes are and what they mean and how to change them. If anyone has any ideas would really appreciate it.. I'm in the middle of a cut and am stuck. I'm running cm6.01

If it is turned off in system-parameters features, then you are not using the feature. Turn it off in the system parameters customer options. Log into the web page of CM and navigate to Administration / Licensing / Feature Administration.

only Avaya can change this !!!!

acss sme acis sme acss cm 5.2.1 acss cm and cmm acss aura messaging.

I was able to log into 1 of the web interfaces w/dadmin and turned if off in the licensing section. I also was able to login with my regular credentials to the other web interface and did the same w/no problem. I was then able to add the udp entries. Thanks for responding.

I still am unable to find what exactly this feature is used for. Sounds old.

You can only do this yourself on cm6.
Earlier versions r10 to r15 require RFA license to turn Mode Code for Centralized Voice Mail? n or y
r9 and early require Avaya services "init" login to make changes to "system-parameters customer-options"

Avaya. Too little or no help? Expensive?

Yes, I am a CM6 and thank the heavens I was able to do that. I guess I could have opened a case w/AVAYA and had them do it right away, but doing it this way was much easier.
