Mobile Twinning with IP Dect

Hi I put a customer a IP office 500 V2 in on version 6. We sold them mobile twinning and also an IP Dect R4 solution. They are really happy with the dect solution which twins with there primary 5410 phone. The issue is they also want it to twin with there mobile phone as well as there dect phone. So in effect when some one rings there primary DDI there office phone (5410) there Dect and there mobile needs to ring. In Manager as soon as I turn on internal twinning mobile twinning is greyed out and vice versa. Is there any way round this is the cusotmer really wants this feature.

You "MIGHT" be able to get something working with some sneaky programming but it will be complicated

create 2nd ext for user with external twinning to mobile
(dont forget to enable twin group calls!)

create group containing dect phone & 2nd user

set external twinning on 1st user to the new group.

I havn't tested this but it looks as though it should work...

Kind of a workaround but you can have the mobile twinned with the desk phone and have that and the DECT phone in a group, other than that no it can't be done

just have forward no answer to the mobile - set a button so they can turn it on and off.

Unless they plan to use the one-x mobile features, then i recommend this and just leave the DECT twinned.

Make a group with a vurtual user with mobile twinning turned on (check the option when logged out)

Then build a group with the dect phone and the virtual user.
Then put this group in the twinning field.

If that is not possible then built another virtual user with forward unconditional to that group and put the user in the twinning field.

Thanks for all your posts thats what I have done with a work around so at least if they dont pickup the Lan or dect forward on no answear/busy forwards to the mobile. Or I will need to do it forwarding to a ghost user that has mobile twinning on a forward it to that so they can use the mobilty short codes.

Its a pitty both twinning options are not available at the same time.
