Hello,

I have a IPO500 in the UK on voiceflex SIP trunks , I have a number of deskphones twinned to mobiles(cell) and am trying to send the originators number through to the mobile(cell) when in twinning mode , i have played with the sip line settings E.G None, remote party id,Division Header,P Asserted ID, this is with send original call party info for mobile twinning unticked under the Twinning tab in "System" .

I Have checked with Voiceflex our Sip provider and they have confirmed that the service is active on the trunks ......any ideas!!

Does monitor show you sending that number out? If so the providor/someone else is changing it :-)

Monitor tells me that it is sending the remote caller ID and as you suggested, Voiceflex them seem to bin that off and replace it with a Sip number on our account (not even our main number) i have been on there support portal and changed the trunks to "Pass through" Makes no difference !! voiceflex tech support cant tell me what to set (remote party id, div header , or P ass ID) do you think this is something they should know?

They certainly should know, if they tell you it is active on your trunks then they should also tell you how to do it/what they support :-)

What method are you using to send the caller ID on the twinned call? P-asserted-ID? Remote Party ID? From?

What do they support and in what order do they give priority? Usually p-asserted-id is given the priority when available.

Im using P-asserted, voiceflex are claming they support this protocol but are now blaming the PBX!!, I have proved it is not the IPO in my own mind by viewing monitor and changing the settings on the Voiceflex portal. (they give you the option to present front end any number on the circuit that you want, which i can do.
Problem is when i set the portal to PASS THROUGH it reverts back to sending the main number tagged to the SIP account ,Which is not our main number ,apparently the IPO is doing this ...YEAH RIGHT!!

Send them a copy of the monitor trace showing what you are sending (with the relevant data highlighted) also a wireshark trace which will also show what you send, as the wireshark traces are the data after it has left the system any changes can't possibly be the system. They can't argue with hard facts, they will try but just keep at them :-)

Under your SIP line on the URI tab make sure that all entries used for outbound calls have "Use Internal Data" selected under PAI.

Hi

I have this working with voiceflex on IP500v1 6.0 and IP500V2 6.1.12

on systems tab twining send original calling party info for mobile twining unticked and box bellow empty

on sip trunk

sip lin tab

Send caller ID set to Diversion header
Call routing Method set to TO Header

Sip URL

Local URI,Contact and Display Name set to XXXXXXXXXXX my DDI number from voiceflex

PAI set to None on 6.1.12

Voiceflex CLi is set to Pass through

Also i have the DDi digits set to full nation number e.g XXXXXXXXXXX eleven digits

As for voiceflex i would try changing the CLi to withheld push the changes and set it back to pass through and push the changes again

Looks like the same problem here;
