.MMP file causing problem

Hi

Exchange creates a .mmp file in c:\Exchsrvr\WebTemp
Apparently this is a dynamic file that will be recreated if i delete it. my problem is that one file is casuing my backups to fail and i want to delete it but im not sure what will happen. anyone know more about these .mmp files? can i just delete it?
