Does anyone know how to add snapin to the group policy settings. For example I want to add SQL Enterprise Mgr snapin to the list of permitted snapins to be ran in Group polciy. By default we only have AD user and computer, AD site and services, etc, etc.

Start -> run> "mcc"
click on FILE -> ADD/REMOVE Snap-in - > ADD...

Make your selection of the different consoles that you want. Once you are done, click on FILE -> SAVE. I hope that helps.

yes I am aware of this. But with Group Policy there is a setting under user configuration->Admin Temp->Win Componet->Microsoft Mangagment console called restrict access to list of permitted snapins. We have this enable to block access to certain snapin through Group Policy. The SQL Enterprise Manager is not on of the snapin listed to allow or disallow under the list of permitted/denied snap in folder. I need to know how to add snapins there for SQL Enterprise Mgr so I can tell it allow it to run.
