OK, I have a question about possibly mixing licensing between vanilla terminal services and Citrix XP.

Can I have _some_ users on a terminal server connect using Citrix, and some connect and only use standard terminal services (without the Citrix enhancements)? Like, have some connect with the standard TS client distributed by MS, and some connect with the Citrix client.

Is this possible at all?

Thanks!

Can I do this on the same server, though? Have some users connect to the server with TSClient and not grab a citrix CAL, and some connect to the server with ICA client and use a CAL?

Basically they want to use Citrix for some users, but not for others, but not buy another server.

Thanks!

Cool, I'm still trying to figure out the logistics, but it's good that they're not going to have to buy citrix cals for people who are already working fine on terminal services.

My next concern is actually implementing citrix on the terminal server, I wonder how that'll affect the people logging in to just TS (we worked long to get their printing 'just right' and now we're adding citrix into the mix, sigh)

Lastly, I haven't used Citrix since metaframe 1.8, does Citrix still require you to be a certified consultant to buy/install metaframe?

Thanks!
