Mixed Mode E2K

Currently I'm running in mixed mode. We don't have any old 5.5 servers running and never will again. I'm fixing to move to a new e2k server. Do i need to move to native mode to do that? Will i see any difference by moving to native mode? Its the ONLY E2k server in the domain. We are a small org with about 125 users.

you'll probably not "see" any difference...but they are:

1)SMTP is the default routing protocol
2)You can have routing groups that consist of servers from multiple administrative groups
3)You can move servers between routing groups
