Mitel ER Advisor - Server Virtualization

Is it possible to virtualize the Mitel ER Adviser server? We have had it running on a virtual platform for a while now with no issues, but recently we're encountering issues where the ER Adviser Remote client cannot connect to the server. After some testing, we've concluded that the Remote clients can connect if there is an active remote session (such as RDP) to the virtual ER Adviser server. As soon as that active session ends the remote client looses connectivity. This was working fine at one point in time. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I could not find any information in the ER Adviser documentation. Not sure if this is not supported, or there is a configuration issue. I've reached out to my vendor and am awaiting a response from Mitel.
