Missing Selections from Data Type menu

I am having the strangest problem with Access 2002.
It just started happening a couple of weeks ago.

Whenever I create a blank database and try to select a data type, the drop down menu is missing items.

I have reinstalled as well as completely removed and installed from scracth. Still having this problem.

Anyone run into this?

Why does it say Access 2000 format. Looks a bit dodgy to me. What are you up to?

I have no idea why it says Access 2000. When I go under the Help/About menu it shows Access 2002.
