I have Windows XP Professional SP1 and have installed the XP Administration Tools Pack to enable me to manage group policy in our Windows 2000 domain.
Unfortunately I have 2 problems, everything at first glance is Ok but I realise that I have no options under User Configuration > Windows Settings other than RIS. I should have more options here.
Secondly, some of my Group Policy objects links have an exclamation mark through them when viewed through the properties of the OU. What does this mean?
I have tried reinstalling but to no avail. I suspect that I'm not the only person to have this, as I have seen identical postings on newsgroups - but unfortunately no replies.
Any ideas appreciated esp. regarding the exclamation mark
thx
