Hi guys,
What with all the problems ive encountered with my database (not resolved [sadeyes]) Ive asked for help from a mate, who has done (partly) what Im after. When I use the database at work though, I have a few problems. When I open it it brings up an error message saying that the data base refers to a missing or broken file msdatgrd.ocx

Could this be why, at work, my split database doesnt work correctly?

How do I go about correcting this?

The msdatgrd.ocx is an ActiveX control that is not part of Access. To use it in Access you will need to establish a Reference to it.

Open any code Module in your database, click on Tools|References on the menubar, and a dialog box will open. Check the box for the ms data grid control and close the dialog. Shut down the database and reopen. You should now be able to use the control.

NOTE however, that all ActiveX controls are not necessarily installed on every machine, so your work PC may not have msdatgrd.ocx installed at all. In this case you will either have to get your office to get the control and install it, or remove the control from your database.
