Missing files after slipstreaming SP4

I've slipstreamed SP4 into a bootable Win2000 Pro setup.
When installing from the CD, several files are now missing.

The files are:
bachsb~1.rmi, beetho~2.rmi, claire~1.rmi, danceo~2.rmi
fureli~1.rmi, hallof~2.rmi, mozart~2.rmi
utopia~1.wav, utopia~2.wav, utopia~3.wav, utopia~4.wav

These files are obviously only audio and of no real importance. The problem is though, that you can't do an unattended install if files are missing from the package.

My questions are:
1. Has anyone else had the same problem after slipstreaming SP4?

2. How can I fix this? Is it possible to either insert the missing files into the installation, or, remove these files from the list of files to copy?

Any help appreciated,
Scruff.

How do you know they are missing? Because of messages you get while trying to install? Have you checked your source for creating the CD (ie, after you slipstreamed?). I would guess that the problem is either with the writing of the CD (often have to write at least 2 copies when I slipstream - at least track-at-once and disk-at-once. I find track-at-once more reliable). Or, with the CD ROM device in the machine you're installing to. Or possibly, machine you are installing to has another hardware problem that is manifesting as can't read files (I think this unlikely - but it does happen).

Hey, Unscruffed. Ever find the answer to this one? I had the same thing happen with what looks like the exact same files. Tried 2 CD's on 2 different machines and on both the install couldn't find the files. Wierd.

There seems to be a little confusion about what my problem actually is. I'll try to explain it a little better.

I slipstreamed SP4 into Win 2000 Pro. I then burnt a bootable CD.

The problem is during a clean install using the burnt CD.
When Windows 2000 Setup is copying the installation files to the hard drive, it reports the above files as "missing".

I've checked both CD's that I made, and all the files are on the CD. For some reason, Windows Setup says they are not.

For those of you with the same problem, I found a temporary fix by removing the above files from the TXTSETUP.SIF file. (This file is in the "i386" folder.)

Hope this clears things up a bit.
