Hi All,

I would like to use the API on my IPO500v2. I have looked at the documentation and it looks like the endpoint should be running on port 7070, but I have nothing on that port.
I checked thought the settings and cant find anything about enabling it anywhere.
I have version 10.1.0.1.0 build 3.

What am I missing?

Thanks

What API for what?

That same API is used by Avaya themselves as part of the web management service. So first I would try to manually launch web management. Browse to the IP Office system address (without adding any port number) and click on the Web Management link.

If nothing appears then it may be that the web management service files haven't been installed. When you recreate the system SD card, there is a prompt whether to include the web management files or not.

You have to connect through an Application Server. IP500 doesn't host the API itself.

Make sure that the security user is the same on IP500 and Application Server.

Thanks for that.

As I have conflicting information;

sizbut - when go to the ip with no port I get the page with the links. Clicking on the web management link will work fine.
If I try - I get "Embedded File Server File Does Not Exist"
If I try (port 8443 is where the web manager is running) I get "URI Not Registered"

derfloh - Is it a product we need to purchase? From what I can see on the web it is like running the IPO on a server.

Thanks

Are you connecting to the Application Server as derfloh mentioned?

The Web Services are not hosted on the IP500, you'll need an Application Server.
This is described in the IP Office 11.0 Management API Developer Reference Guide

Thanks all, looks like I need a application server :(

Thanks
