MIRAN MC-8 replacement

Guys,
I have a MIRAN MC-8 (NTVQ01AB)I believe is going bad and needs replacement. I have Doc 553-3001-112, but it doesn't seem to deal with this card. If I replace the card, in a nutshell, what is involved? Is all the security/kecode info on the 'watch battery' dongel, or will I need new codes from KRS?

you just need to move the dongle and re-enter the keycodes. then you can import the sound files and database.. i've replaced them on repair and it very easy, after the 1st two
