Ok, so first, you CAN install a 4 port w/o a problem. Good! and Thanks! my vendor was the source of the info and she wasn't sure either so I thought I'd do her homework and find out for sure. What takes me an hour to find out will take her a day.
As for the simultaneous calls, the RAN broadcast, here is what she said "Large Miran is 8 ports. Each port can support up to 30 simultaneous connections using the optional RAN Broadcast licenses on the CS1000. This would be 240 simultaneous announcements on a single card with the optional licenses. Large Mirans and broadcast licenses are not the only issue though. You have to consider the gateway type it is in, the super loop configuration and any DSP resources necessary. Without proper switch resources the maximum broadcast count is decreased. "
Now obviously, I'm an 81c so that is why I asked. And since the broadcast lic. are optional, how do I find out if I have them and if I have enough?
