Miran for Music On Hold 2

Im trying to use a Miran card for MOH, everyhing is working but when I want to add the Miran's trunk to the Music Route (MUS) I got a error: Type conflict. Then, I tried to use the MIRAN route itself but I got almost the same when I tried to change the MUSIC route at LD 15

You can't use a RAN trunk for music and you can use a MUS trunk for RAN

I suspect the route you are trying to add to MUSR is a RAN route and not a MUS route

That's what I thought,I read the Miran manual 553-3001-112 pag. 59, it talk about a Mus route and that confuse me, then what I have to setup?

There is probably a Music trunk on that MIRAN card.

REQ PRT
TYPE MUS

If nothing comes back, study the MIRAN book on where to create the MUS TN - Miran can have Music fer sure.

Check your licences in LD 22 /PRT SLT your looking for
MUS CON

music is alway default configured on channel 0 of the MIRAN card. That doesn't mean you have built a MUS route and built a trunk in ld 14 on TN xxx-x-xx-0 for it, but if you do, and have not manipulated the MIRAN channels, channel 0 will automatically start playing music if you LTM a mus route with chnl 0.

Thanks GHTROUT you were right, bigindian65 I can use channel 0 to 6 for MUS and Yes I need a Music Route,right now is working in my sistem. Thanks for all

Yes any channel can be assigned mus, just saying 0 is default.
