I don't know much about the miran card but we have 8 channels 0-6 are currently assigned. We currently have 3 recorded ran messages and are assigned as follows: 0,1,2-ran1, 3,4-ran2 5,6-ran3. We wanted to add an additional ran message but seems we are out of channels. I'm not exactly sure what channel 7 is being used for - maybe our on hold music which we have a cd player for. is adding another ran message possible? does each ran message need this many channels? i'm not sure how that all works. We have symposium express so if we can move channels around how do we do set the routes in symposium? sorry for all the questions and thanks in advanced. by the way we have a Miran III.

stat the loop shelf card in ld 32

if chnl 7 says DID, it is your TUI interface. Chnl 0 is default music, so unless you chgd it 0 is music and 7 is TUI - telephone interface, unless you don't use TUI. You can out the member and route for chnl 7 TUI, and use it for RAN instead, just remember your only access will be UP, or front of card to laptop/pc.

your probably right, we do use the tui so channel 7 is probably used for that. So that's not an option for us because we need the tui. do we really need 3 channels for 1 ran? i don't know how that all works.

is music on zero? or how is your volume? with Broadcast 64 callers can listen at once, it is set up to bleed over, but if you don't need it, put it on just one, that's up to you. I don't know if it is music or a RAN, you can tell from ld 32 though.
