I needs a dongle and a keycode that ties the dongle on the MIRAN to the site ID of your switch. If you have those then configure at least one channel and then push the card in (If you don't config a channel it stops during the boot). Plug in a serial port watch the boot, once up login and set the keycode.

I don't want to scare you, but I would rather install an entire CS1KM than face another one of those nightmares!!
Now that I've got your pulse racing... Do you have the serial cable that plugs into the faceplate?
And the amphenol adaptor thingy for the backplane?
Quick question: For what purpose do you intend to use the card MOH, RAN, or AWU??
What about licenses and FEAT PKGS???
