MIRAN backup to flash, Miran static

Can someone instruct me on how to back up my MIRAN to flash? My Miran has a lot of static on it and I was going to replace the MIRAN card.......unless somebody has a suggestion? Also, once I replace the card how do I input the memory from my flash card onto the MIRAN?

you need to connect to the mmi interface on the comm port, the http connetion is not the best way to go on that. after you get that access if you don't see the menu prompts, repost, i'll have to refresh my info on that. another hint, disc the card (or power down the self) and reseat that card, i've had that work twice on static

Chuckman, ran into same problem on a Miran 3 card on Succession 1000m system. I reseat the card and that cleared trouble with static. For a backup, look at the Merl 3.00, NTP 553-3001-112 pg 122 for the procedure. Also, pg 266 for the replacement of Miran. One more thing you might want to upgrade to the latest firmware on that card also. Good luck
