Min/Max Buttons On Forms

I have created a form which maximises on open. The only problem is I don't want the user to be able to resize this form in any way at all. I have disabled the min/max buttons but when the form open maximised the 'resize'/Min-Max button in the control box in the top right hand corner appears. This is hacking me off a little bit now. I don't want to set all my forms to pop up as thats just dumb.

Set your form's border to either THIN or NONE. That should take the control menu and Min/RestoreDown/Close buttons off the title bar.

The button I am referring to is actually on the 'File' Edit'
'View' etc Toolbar. Its there when the form is maximised but dissapears when the form is reduced in size. Any more ideas!!!

Create your own custom toolbar/menu bar.Have a look at the help file under command bars.

Is there anyway to get rid of the default 'menubar'? As this is the one thats giving me the problem.

Yes. In the MENUBAR property of the form, use the undocumented switch =1

That's EqualSign One

It will turn off the File/Edit/View... guy

What's nice about this switch is that when you close the form, the menu bar will reappear automatically.

It's a switch I put in ALL of my forms..don't want the user doing anything on that menu without my permission..

Thanks for the tip, but it still does not get rid of the two square boxes that resize the form to its max and min state. As I've said above, this button only shows when the form is maximised, which is how all my forms run.
I have set the relevant properties of the form and when the form is in a pop up state/resized state this button does not appear.

Anymoer ideas anyone!!!!!

Are you talking about the min/max/close buttons on the Access titlebar itself?

There IS a way, using code, to get rid of this 'background curtain' so to speak. I don't have it offhand, but if you do a search for "remove Access background" or something like that, either here or on the various and sundry Access forums/sites, you should be able to find it.
