Hi,

I am on Step 4 of the ADC Tools and I receive the following:

Step 4: Connection Agreement Wizard (doesn't matter how long I wait, I always receive this warning)
Pass 2 of 2: Active Directory Object Replication Scan validation (objects processed: 829)
Warning: Active Directory still contains objects that are not replicated to the Exchange 5.5 directory. If you have just run Connection Agreement Wizard, allow time for directory replication to complete, and then rerun the
verification task in Step 4.

So I read the article "Active Directory still contains objects that are not replicated" warning message is logged to the ADC Tools log file in Exchange Server 2003 when you run ADC Tools: and to me it sounds as if I can go ahead and install Exchange 2003 and SP1. The article states "To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Microsoft
Exchange Server 2003."

Can anyone verify this for me? All the other issues that I had with ADC Tools seem to be cleaned up now, so I am down to this last Step. I have five 5.5 servers that constantly need attention and getting 2003 up and running would be very good for me.

Any help is greatly appreciated,
Patrick

if you passed adc tools wizaid, i guess you are a go, i beliee adc tool have done pre-check for you. next , you just throw in your ex2k3 box into the same 5.5 org, and move mb over.

Thanks for the reply...

I have moved on past the ADC Tools Wizard and I am now on "Tools for Validating Exchange 5.5 and Exchange 2003 Coexistence"

I have fixed all the issues in ADCConfigCheck and ConfigDSInteg. I have fixed everything in RecepientDSInteg except the following:

--------> Recipient results from (mailNickname=*) ...

DN = CN=SystemMailbox{4B4B47AC-1BC2-4891-8B43-2826DBB52E7C},CN=Microsoft Exchange System Objects,DC=xxx,DC=com
object-class = top$person$organizationalperson$user
The user is mailbox enabled and contains no home-mdb (homeMdb)
** The GUID in the name of this object does not reference a valid MDB. This object is most likely an orphaned object.
The user is mailbox enabled and contains no home-mta (homeMta)
-------------------------------------------------------------------

I finally found this SystemMailbox in Active Directory Users and Computers > Microsoft Exchange System Objects. I fixed the other accounts that had "The user is mailbox enabled and contains no home-mdb (homeMdb)" by right clicking the account, Exchange Tasks, and Remove Exchange Attributes... this SystemMailbox is blank in Exchange Tasks!

Any idea how I can fix this box? I can't find any data on the 'net about what it is or why the error says it's mailbox enabled, but Exchange has no attributes for it.

Thanks,
Patrick

I've found that the offending SystemMailbox is on one of my 5.5 servers... I just can't find it on that server.

As far as I am concerned, this thread is closed... I have solved my issues and can now create and move mailboxes with the new Exchange 2003 server :)
