Migration from Avaya IP Office to Mitel IPC3300

Hi everybody,

My company decided to migrate from Avaya to Mitel system,
Do you know if there is anay compatibility of Avaya Ip phones with IPC3300 ?

I know that Avaya phones support SIP protocols but i dont know if it is Avaya proprietay SIP

Good thing to know is that Mitel announced a 2x1 in Bulletin PB20150006 (Move to Mitel for MiVoice Business), where basically you purchase one phone and get another one for free. Ask your dealer to re quote, sure they didn't include that as this was announced April the 1st this year. Not sure if available in north America but definitely available in Europe and Asia. Here is the bulletin:

Summary

This promotion enables owners of specified legacy voice systems to migrate to the MiVoice Business at a discounted price. Qualifying orders will benefit from a 2 for 1 offer on selected MiVoice IP handsets.



 
You can use some Avaya sets in SIP mode on the MCD.
The sets require a download via FTP to be configured in SIP mode and connect to the MCD.
There are limitations on functionality however.
