I am getting ready to migrate my Exchange server 2000 to a new server running Exchange 2000. Your posts are very helpful, but if I migrate all of the mailboxes and info offline, what type of problems would I see (if any) if when I brought Exchange back up, I just inserted the new server in place of the old server. I do not need the old server anymore and I would like to do it this way. My loction is the root so I dont have to replicate anywhere else but locally. Would there be an issue with SID's ? Thank you for your help

There are FAQs on DRing to a new box. That would be a good way to do it.
