migrating custom attributes from Exchange 5.5 to Ex2003

We are in the process of migrating from Exchange 5.5 to Exchange 2003. We set up the ADC between the Exch5.5 and AD. We then added a new "custom attribute" to Exch5.5. The ADC can no longer replicate because the new attribute is not in AD. How can I get the new attribute migrated to AD?
