We have migrated users from Exchange 5.5/NT to Windows 2003/Exchange 2003. All latest service packs and that jazz.
Anyways, we support users running IMAP, POP3 and SMTP as well as MAPI.
*some* users sending via SMTP get errors stating they are not allowed to send as that user (they are sending from their own account!). So just poking around, in the mailbox permissions, I change the SELF permission to allow "Send As" and it fixes the problem...for a couple hours...until the "Send As" magically clears itself.
Has anybody else experienced this and solved it?
