I had to restart the MICS last night and I can't get the rad to function. I have unplugged the Rad from the KSU, powered it down, etc and no luck. If I enter a F9**.. I get feature inactive. What can I do?

I plugged a phone into it and it is. The RAD was working before I repowered the system.

How long? I am not sure what you mean. The RAD was powered back up for at least an hour. If I dial F** it syas inactive feature. If I unplug the port and plug it into a phone it works. If I look in maintenance, it shows nothing connected to the port.

Well, an hour is certainly long enough for it to come back up properly.

Just for grins and giggles, take it to another stn port and plug it in.

The FastRad uses the B2 ext (channel) of the station so plugging a phone in technically just tests the B1 of the station, not the B2. Maybe for some ungodly reason the B2 is toasty.

Thanks, I'll try that. Nothing worse than a toasty B2!!

Just tried that. no change. When I do a F9** I get inactive feature. Anybody got any ideas? Could be the RAD died?
